Mr. Richie Braganza our founder, mentor and a true icon in the live sound industry started off with a die hard passion for rock n roll music. He was driven to improve the state of the audio systems which was provided to our early rock bands. He toured with many known touring acts and provided them with the best audio solutions at that time and ever since. He is one out of the few people who have been responsible for the advancement and development of live sound industry in India.

In the year 1980 he established a sound company named “Electrocord”, which was the outcome of the growing popularity of the sound system provided to the rock n roll events. During the late 80’s and through the 90’s, the company toured with famous Hindi pop artists and playback singers across the country. Electrocord successfully provided audio solutions for the “Festival of India” held in the U.S.S.R. in 1988 and toured Russia with India’s leading Rock bands and Pop artists. For twenty plus successful years, we provided our services to many events ranging from rock to religious.

In the year of 1999, Electrocord teamed with an upcoming sound company to form R&W Sound Company Pvt. Ltd. R&W brought down the flagship system of Electro-Voice (EV) U.S.A. to India .The X Array concert sound Flying speaker system was a milestone in concert sound speaker systems. For five successful years, we rocked our events with the largest fleet of the top of the line EV speaker system. As time progressed, we felt the need to go and grow solo, bringing in RICH AUDIO during the summer of 2004. Since then we have always set new bench marks creating newer niches by path breaking technologies in the field of Pro Audio, Show lighting and Trussing.
